I've already done that by forgetting to unequip a torch.
So the owner of that bottle must be very powerfull to scare a Zenth like that or ik could even be something meant for Manshoon the leader of the Zenth.
This occcured for me also, i passed all the checks and got into the camp only to forget my torch was equipped and i exploded all the barrels as i walked over some flammable liquid !
I eventually found out i had opened an object (a bottle) i shouldn't have and the leader turned hostile, so now I am just fighting them all and it is a ♥♥♥♥ storm. I might open the bottle and go and hide and see if the monster attacks the zenth also for giggles.
A good idea would be going invisible and looting everything even the back area where you find some nice items or casting a spell to obscure the party like a cloud that blinds any who enter it
I have have the Fist do this to me.
Yeah, they just imported the DOS2 stealing rubbish mechanic and it clashes with everything new they tried to shoe horn into the game.
Like, you know, most of the other new stuff in the game ... sigh.
