An other Thaniel / Helsin Problem

So I'm at the end of act 2. I defeated the last boss and now i can go to baldurs gate. The last quest thats left is that i need to break the shadow curse. And find Thaniel:
So after one houer looking for him i googled the quest.

Now the problem: Helsin is at the moment on the main floor at the moonrise towers. When i speak with him there is not an option that he will join my team or stay in my camp.

Then i visited Oliver and played hide and seek (that was waaay before i killed the endboss in act 2). I found Oliver without fighting. So he is not in a good mood after and when i speak to him he always complains about losing the game. Can't take him to my camp.

Then nothing...

At the beginning i accidently killed the whole town (last light inn) by letting the bad guy (duno his name anymore) kidnaping the holy girl who was casting the shild above the town.

So there was no portal quest too ^^'

Its the last quest i need to do. I read that Halsin will join me after this. So i would rather have him in my camp when i continue with the main quest ^^

Anyone who can help me?

No. Halsin will remain in Shadowland to lift the Curse.

no portal quest, no thaniel. So you either move on or reload a save before you let last lights light get snuffed out.

Really not a problem. Halsin has no more quests or sidelines. He is ordinary druid companion. You have Jaheira who is druid too and she has a questline. Or you could hire druid hireling if you wish.

It's worth going back. Much better to to stop Lady whatsit getting kidnapped.

There's also some fun battles with that quest.

I've just gone back to redo the whole Goblin Camp, because I didn't speak to Mol or steal idol - things I wanted to do.
