Good luck with your request.
I sure had no luck with that, no matter how meaningful it is.
If you cant cope with frequently breaking mods, dont update the game.
Even with official modding tools it is still not Larian Studios responsibilities to "keep mods working". It is only their responsibility to keep the game itself working.
Mod users are normally entirely unaffected as they are smart not to run into such "update traps".
Indeed. Op, you're very naive if you believe most posters are either capable or even willing to post specs.
Deal with reality: the majority is highly stupid and unwilling to learn ...
But why would you do that when you can instantly go into panic mode and pointlessly shout in the eather, before even trying a second time?
Day by day I can relate more and more with Asuka Soryu Langley
Exactly, I work for a fairy known software company ( No not games unfortunatly) and everytime people have Issues with the software not working it's always "It's your software's fault" Sometime it might but more often then not it's the customer's rig....
Number of times I heard... Oh I had to update such and such driver, or oh I didn't know version X needed such, or the web UI works bad on Safari (despite 6 warnings)
Example, I know I run BG3 on a subpar cumputer, so I'm not going to complain about my graphic card bottle necking. ( I just couldn't wait to play Bg3...) so I have realistic expectations.
But you would think people having issues would like to put their specs out so maybe people can say... Ah your running it on a AMD X then turn off your TAA it will run better.
It immeadiatly... AAAAH it doesn't work!!! burn everything and everyone at LARIAN and give me my money back!!

Long story short: it does not work here. I tried.
Circa > 96% of all threads with issues can be resolved by following Larian Studios support sites while only a circa of 3% are actual noteworthy bugs which needs to be addressed in the backoffice.
Even if you are able to formulate solutions which work great, people will ignore it and instead post "same" all over for now reasons without actually reading your solutions.
By now it is better to think that those people do not want to have any solution to begin with. Otherwise it would be easy to make troubleshooting organised, easy, decisive and quick. It would even be productive if that way certain issues can be confirmed reliably, making it a certain deal for QA rather than having to browse countless mod issues.
Therefore, good luck! And I tell you the same I told the other nice people who just want to help other people: make sure not to end up bitter like me about that. All I have left in that regards is me laughing maniacally when thinking about two savegame issues which I shared the information just weeks after release with all the details needed to address it - but no one cares about regardless how many on the forums have had the same issue. I know just tell them: go report it to Larian Studios directly. Just complaining on the forums does nothing as Larian Studios do not check Steam forums in that regards.
While once I would have given the benefit of the doubt (when I was young and naive), I'm pretty confident in saying now that most people have no idea what their specs are, let alone what that means.
I assume they get mostly to: "This game runs on a computer, and I have a computer! Why doesn't it work how I want it to?!"
For reasons that reminds me of the joke story about how two car hijackers gave up and ran away on foot when they found out the car they tried to steal had a gear shift.
As for act III the only issue I've had is Halsin not following; he just stands in one spot.
I've been in a mood of being more interactive here now, and have tried to respond and help where i know and can. but i also know i'll probably run out of energy fast.
It's a large community and difficult to manage, let alone when there is no management at all x)
