Lady Esther and egg(s) question regarding act 3.

Did anyone try to give her either egg then steal it from her, does that prevent everyone being murdered in act 3?

If you still have the owlbear egg, there's a nature check where you can try to give it to her pretending it's a gith egg. I failed that particular check because I didn't have anyone specializing in Nature at the time, but I'd assume the Owlbear hardly goes any better than the Gith.

yeah owlbear also murders everyone in society of brilliance

Yes, you can give it to her, and if you steal it back everyone lives. It's sort of the best option (IMO).

this, did the same on second playthrough was actually surprised everyone was alive and there was a quest too
