Larian should make a Warhammer 40k game
Think about it.

Larian should never have gotten their hands on BG3. If they got 40k it would end up as Divinity 4 rather than 40k, just like what happened to BG3.

With how Larian handled Bg3, their 40k title would have to have a protagonist dedicated to Slaanesh, or it just wouldnt work.

I'm not too much into Warhammer 4Ok, the only designs i like are the Tau (globaly) and Imperium Ships, the rest... meh... i don't really like the Imperium, Eldars, Orcs ...ect.

But sadly, we will probably never see Warhammer 40k game that focus on the Tau

how about warhammer fantasy instead. 40k is great but there are hundrets of games. Fantasy however.... total war as strategy and vermintide if you want mindless bashing. Chaosbane sucks. And thats pretty much it

Well any sci-fi setting i would be super interested in larian doing just because they have extremely freeform combat which you can't find in other CRPG's unfortunately, and creatively slaughtering my enemies is something i've love to do in WH40K universe.

We really don't need a 40k game with playersexual companions.

We already did. It was called Fire Warrior.

Yeah I can just see how that would work

I'm not sure on if they could do it justice. They pull off fantasy medieval vibes amazingly, but it's in such stark contrast to 40k. Maybe Sigmar?

Well, at least, this game exist, but it doesn't seems particularly good, maybe it's just because the game is old now

So that they can make Divinity: Original Warhammer?

Because BG3 doesn't resemble BG1 and BG2 at all and it is much more closer to DoS instead.

Gotta admit, Wrath of the holybugger did not inspire confidence in Owlcat games for a it being good.. They clearly do not know how to make a challenging encounter, this was obvious from the overly inflated stats of all enemies which seemed to be the only way they could manage to make a slight challenge in the game.

How would you have designed challenging encounters in a game where the party members starts getting "epic levels" from the start of the game? Why are the over bloated stats an issue when you are also given tools to deal with them?

Yeah, cause if we didn't have enough DnD blowhards freaking out over the entire EA process and release of this game about how Larian personally came to their house and didn't pet their dog, let's get that with ANOTHER overly sensitive fan base.

Would I love to see that game? Sure. Do I want to endure years of listening to idiots freak out about EVERY POSSIBLE THING all over again? No, not really.:dcurse:

It wasn't the DnD people who were whining during EA process, but fans of the original games that couldn't handle slightest deviation from the infinite engine games.
Only if it's a Slaaneshi exclusive campaign. :steamhappy:
