should i trust vlaatith?
I am an act 3, in Act 2 in the temple I convinced lae'zel to defy vlaakith and now in act 3 when I was going for a long rest she appeared and is trying to convince her to become a commander of dragons. Should I trust her or tell lae'zel to stand her ground? I know it's a spoiler but I'm not big on lae'zel I just want to play as completionist as I can and that includes doing her story however if following vlaakith leads to lae'zel's doom and following Voss leads to her becoming powerful important and all that I would rather go with Voss.

D&D lore, rather than anything directly in the game... Vlaakith is literally a Lich that is trying to enslave every single world. She's no better than the mind flayers that the Gith overthrew. It wasn't that long ago that there was a D&D campaign for nearly every setting about Vlaakith launching full scale invasion of multiple world at once.

She's bad. Very, very bad. She's not even honest, she lies constantly. Trusting her is probably about as good of an idea as trusting Cyric (and I hope that is NEVER a choice the game throws in).

Surely THIS time she wouldn't try to kill you for knowing too much, right?

Okay so she's not trustworthy in the Lore I get that but in the actual gameplay is there something horrible that happens to lae'zel if I decide not to follow the Lich Queen that wouldn't have happened if I would have followed her?

As far as I can tell, she is temporarily out of wish spells at this point in the game if that’s what you’re concerned about.

No it is not I don't care about her attacking me because I can just reload a save right before she does it and choose something else I mean a big change later in the story that would cause great disaster upon the world or upon Lae'zel. Essentially if I am doing a good heroic playthrough what should I choose to do?

Allways trust mama Vlaakith. How can there be doubt after seeing her soft face and warm eyes ?

That's not Vlaakith, but Githyanki in general.

You are doing a good heroic playthrough? And you’re asking if you should strike a deal with one of the most evil characters in the game and lore?

I'd argue that she is better than Orpheus since she's doing everything he'd do while also harming the Githyanki. That's a win for the multiverse.

My definition of good and heroic in DND is kind of flawed the first game I ever did I ended up saving the world by siding with a God to defeat a mortal that had essentially killed half a country to become a fake God of War. Earlier in the game I killed an innocent family and made bowls out of their skulls because I felt like it... So yeah I'm not going to strike a deal with vlaakith.

Seriously, you are like a beaten cur that just comes back for more. NO! Don't trust the Undead superbeing who craves godhead and constantly tries to kill you!

And who literally seconds before making her offer to Lae'zel was declaring the lot of you double-abominations that must be purged.
