Paladins don't have to be lawful sticks-in-the-mud anymore, they just have to obey the terms of their oath. And so long as they're not breaking that oath they can engage in all kinds of "chaotic behavior" and even multiclass into the likes of Rogue or Barbarian.
Far as I know, Oath of Ancients is mostly respecting the dead and anti-necromancy. which Fey don't really factor into unless they're raising the dead themselves (as Ethel was). Devotion is more Anti-fey, because Fey nonsense tends to harm innocents.
My main character as OoTA Paladin/Archfrey Warlock.
It's very thematic and lore appropriate.
OoTA tennets are, paraphrased:
Kindle the Light
Shelter the Light
Preserve Your Own Light
Be the Light
They are the ultimate "True Good" Paladins with a nature theme.
Fey tend to be tricksters, but they're not necessarily evil, and they also like nature.
As long as you role play preserving nature and kindling virtues like hope, you're good.

Sometimes called fey knights, green knights, or horned knights, paladins who swear this oath cast their lot with the side of the light in the cosmic struggle against darkness because they love the beautiful and life-giving things of the world, not necessarily because they believe in principles of honor, courage, and justice. They adorn their armor and clothing with images of growing things-leaves, antlers, or flowers-to reflect their commitment to preserving life and light in the world.

I don't think there is. Also, it's your game. If you want to play as the most nature-loving hippie Paladin, you do that and have fun. Don't pay any attention if someone else says that it doesn't make sense. If you want to play it and make a story to fit it, it makes sense to you. And that is all that matters.
