Mirror of Loss Not Interested in Me

I was wondering if anyone who has encountered this would have an explanation to why the Mirror of Loss (found in the Sharran temple below the House of Grief) has no interest in my character. I've played through the outcomes where Shart keaves or stays with Shar, and the result with the mirror is the same.

I pass the religion check to offer a prayer to the mirror, and I pass the check to deceive the mirror with a false offering, and the mirror is not interested in giving me a stat bonus. I tried offering a real memory only to receive the same effect. The same things happen with Astarion and Minthara too. Though the mirror does work with Shart.

I was just wondering if there is any lore that explains who the Mirror chooses to work with or not. For background, I play evil. I ascend Astarion, and become a spawn. I'm also the Durge.

It seems to be randomly interested in specific memories , I usually save right after I pass religion check as it is only interested in one - two of my memories and can’t figure which ones .

Seems that my strongest attributes have better chance to be accepted like as a bard , memory of me charming someone is usually accepted while memory of my strength is declined .

But not sure if that’s how it goes, I am also sure that if an attribute is lower than 10 it will be declined as your min is 8.

But again not sure if it’s always like that
