Shar Gauntlet Bug!! Help please

Hi everyone...i'm stuck with the umbral gems in the Shar Gauntlet! (I cant reaload the save, i made waaaaay to many progress in the game bofore i noticed).

I have 4 Gems out of 5 and i cant go on with the quest, i made all of the trials, but probably the one that was bugged was the "self same" trial!I remember picking up the gem but not seeing it in the inventory (I know, I should have reloaded the save) and i went on with other quest...

Now...please, how can i do? I almost resorted to cheating that damn orb!

4 gems are required - 1 for the platform, 3 for the door.
The portal from the trials opens only after picking up the gem.

You say you did all the trials. Did you get the orb from the Ortan?

Yes! As i said i'm 100% sure that the gem i'm missing is from the self same trial

Just in case, when you approach the statue where the gem would be, it is empty now and there is a portal back to the entrance? If so, the gem was taken and it should be somewhere in the inventories, the PC's or companions'. They are marked as quest items, so not be possible to sell.
I haven't tried to redo any of the trials, thus, cannot tell if doing so spawns a new gem. Probably, doesn't.

Edit. For the Self-Same trial, I think, the gem statue is behind the balcony where the foes spawn.

Sadly i've already checked every inventory, every backpack etc...also i've already checked every room multiple times, nothing, i still miss one damn orb :( and the trials cant be repeated

Sorry. In earlier versions it was possible to use the Knock spell on the orb-locked door, but it was patched out. I can't think of any other solution but reloading or cheating.

Might be a bug, but probably you actually forgot to grab one of them. It has happened to me....

Seems weird though that only one of your orbs would vanish after you picked it up.
Check all the trial rooms again. Make sure you sacrificed your blood where required. If you like do the faith-leap trial without sacrificing blood, there will be no gem on the pedestal.

No. However you could try this mod. I'm not going to read the description, that's your job. Check if it also spawns questitems.

There is an actual bug here, but for sure check the trials and the demon's body first.

The one trial where you go up against mirror images, the orb drops from one of the corpses and onto the ground. Not on the corpse. It is easy to miss.

However, if you are affected by the bug, going to camp, long resting, and then going back in the temple, and then dropping the orbs on the ground from everyone's inventory before picking them back up will sometimes result in you getting the extra orb that's been missing.

This will also fix the bug that doesn't let you interact with the alter to combine items.

Note that it is also not very noticeable among all the clutter. Use your 'Alt' key to get the names of items on the screen. It is going to be somewhere. ;)

And, are you SURE you sacrificed on all three altars?

Other path is to restore a save. I hope you have one from the start of the Trials. :)

The gem for the same exact trial didn't drop for me either. I left the room & came back a couple times. Ended up going to the top of the stairs of that room. There is a bench where the gem was laying. None of the enemies died any where near it. Try walking around while holding alt. Doing that will have any loot on the ground highlight. Hope this helps.
