Yeah.. I just keep messing things up, this game is really not beginner friendly imo. There's A LOT to assimilate and there's a ♥♥♥♥ lot of spells to chooose from when I didn't quite get a grip at combat yet. This game is either really hard or I suck hard. Thanks anyway.
I found this one instance in the hag fight so perfect as far as gameplay details go. When she lights the cage on fire with the girl in it, there are plenty of options, but create water goes that step further that makes a difference. Sure you could ice ray the cage, or simply throw a water bottle instead, but create water douses so much that the Myarana becomes soaked and has the "wet" status on her. This small detail helps when the hag becomes a copy, and you don't risk attacking the wrong one because the real one is wet and the hag won't be.
It's just such a great intricate yet subtle detail, that can turn a 50/50 chance into a sure thing, provided that you notice it.
I killed his ads then i knocked him out.
the one use I had for it so far was that goblin Sazza, cause despite sparing her at the goblin camp she did pick up a fire poker and swing at me while I murdered her friends and family, and I spared her again just because I'd already gone through the trouble of saving her twice lol
Later on ended up with an achievement for sparing her a final time.
Sure enough worked for me when I did it.
You're not just clicking the icon in the journal, right? Best to drag it to your action bar and make sure it's activated.
I'm playing on steam deck so it's in the little menu that pops up. It seemed to work when I waited till last to knock him out. I'll have to go back and try other fights!
