Act 3: Does Long resting a few times have effect on the Murder quest?

Curious - does long resting impact the murders quest ? ie do people start plopping if one takes 2-3 long rests in BG?

Good question. In my experience, I faffed around for several days after talking to the investigator in the Elfsong and after getting the quest about Ffion, but before finding the list of murder targets. And nothing happened then, so I'm guessing that you're fine up until a certain point in the quest. But I don't know if people will start dying once you've found the targets and actually encountered the murderer, because it felt more time-sensitive then (and I raced to complete the quest because of that.)

I'd love to know the answer - information on time-sensitive quests isn't very clear yet and Act 3 is a mess of having way too much to do at once.

On my first run someone died after I discovered the list and took a long rest. You have some quest with time limit in Act 3.
