Timeline is messed up

So Wyl made me think of the timeline by him saying when he made his pact and how long he has been serving under (Spoiler). And it is kind of messed up.

So Wyl is about 24 (human) saying he has served under (Spoiler) for 7 years and made his pact at 17 when he heard the call to respond to the Well of Dragon event whicj would have been at the end of the adventure module Hoard of the Dragonqueen/Rise of Tiamat. which take place in the year starting 1489 ending 1490 (you spend more then 9 months in module just traveling.) so according to wyl it is suppose to be 1497 at least. (some might say his time in the hells time went differently. but once his return to the fauren he could easily ask people what year is it or look at a calendar.)

It was said the time between BG2 to BG3 was 124 years between them. BG2 takes place in the year 1369. So it is supposed to take place in 1493. It was also said this game takes place a few months before Decent into Avernus 1494.
Now both BG3 & DiA the gazette (news paper) is dated 1492. (In DiA an event is supposed to happen that takes place exactly 50 years prior with the year date being 1454)


Some other facts that dont help.
So for the dark orgin the last balespawn was supposed to be killed in Murder at Baldur's gate 1482 (Bhall is reborn)
Duke Ravengard got his position in MaBG

and shadowheart is atleast 49 years old (being half elf) at 9 taken to be a cleric and studied for atleast 40 + years. (In Theory she could be a grandmother)

This is where you are wrong and source of all your confusion. This is game set few months AFTER Descent into Avernus hence they sold it as prequel to BG3. All the tieflings in act 1 ARE SURVIVOR from city of elturiel which descended into avernus

Yup, you mixed up were the prequel was set.

Has someone done a timeline online anywhere that clears this all up? It would be interesting to see how it all fits together.

1. Recheck your time tables.
2. Consider how time and aging can be different in the planes. Astral for example you dont age on and why Voss and other gith are around for so long(its also why they breed in the prime).
3. I'd not over think it. Timey whimey and retcons and all that sort of thing. Best just grab a book from the library and sit by the pool... I think there's still a pool now...

Hoard of the Dragonqueen/Rise of Tiamat does not take place in 1489/90. Archmage plays after Rise of Tiamat and is set in 1485/86.

So Rise of Tiamat must have taken place in 85 at the latest which still doesn't make sense within the timeline since that would mean that BG3 plays in 92 which it can't because of Descent into Avernus.
