[SPOILERS] Act 3 question
So I meet Araj again in Ac3 after she blows up her house, she asks me to test a potion, I exhaust my choices a bit but do the test. She then wants more of my blood, but I don't wanna give it. So I refuse to the point that she goes hostile.

My party had Asterion and he went first, got some good hits, stayed on her back. Then she got to go next and she bombed us, then drank an invsibility potion. Thing is, I also had Gale and as I had just come from the Nightsong in Raz's tower, and looted it, he had elixir of see invis. So she failed the check, got revealed, then she just vanished.

Straight up vanished, despite the elixir and people surrounding her. Combat ended.

I was/am too tired right now to try again or continue on. I'm okay with a bit of spoilerage here on this subject, so I'll ask, is that supposed to happen? Did she use something else along with the potion, something not recorded in the combat log? Is it some sort of game thing where they just delete her when she doesn't get her way after a parting shot at you and the invis potion was just meant to cover their tracks? Will I encounter her yet again down the line if she blips out like that? I'm confused on what happened and what will happen next, with the option taken to not give her want she wants.

There's no real harm in giving her your blood.

I disagree, the volatile blood thing led to me getting exploded more than anything else.

Anyways, for OP, yeah sometimes NPCs just dip or something in combat. Say, like Auntie Ethel if you fight her in her shack. I wouldn't worry too much about it, that whole plot point doesn't go a whole lot further than that, you're not missing much.

Thank you both for your advice and insight! I think for RP purposes, I'll just go through it once more, and not give her my blood and if she vanishes, she vanishes.

She's from a fallen house and planned for mass undead and terrorism. I don't feel bad turning her down, lol. Lolthspawn are on the whole, an evil people/society, but it's not always wise to help one evil against another evil, so I'll just put a stop/slow on that whole revenge sitch she was plotting, lol.

i mean why would you want to turn down her potion? gives you superpowers.

If the potion is like the act 2 potion, it's an elixir, so its a one and done after you've rested. I still got mine from ac2, never used. I have other elixirs I prefer, mostly the battlemage one since i'm sorcerer.

I gave her blood once, and let her experiment on me once. She's had enough, lol.
