Can you kill all your origin companions via plot twists?
Just idly curious, I was wondering if you start as Dark Urge, could you kill all your companions through game events?

Gale is easy: High-five that mofo and then push him back through the gate. I do this every playthrough now.
-Asterion: Catch in the act then stake him. Or turn him in to the fearless dhampir hunters.
-Laz'ael: ?? Can we kill her off in the creche machine? Can Durge sacrifice her?
-Halsin: Goodbye Grove!
-Whyll: "Drag Me To Hell" sequence with a pissed off Patron. Others?
-Shadowheart: Unsure about this one, since I usually wind up with her as a romantic interest, and her side-mission stuff provides most of the backstory to the game. Can you get Shar to kill her? Or Selune?
-Karlach: Despite being voted "Second most-likely-to-explode" in our party after Gale, I cannot actually get her to blow up through dialogue. Can it be done? Can she get singled out by Zariel at some point, or is the only way to turn her in to the Nestle Tollhouse Paladins?
-Minthara: The Yawn way is just kill her when you meet her in dialogue-entered fight, but I've never had her as a companion, is there a full scripted event to get her killed later in -Moonrise? Or during Goblin invasion of grove?

Yes, you can leave Minthara to die, or be broken and enslaved at Moonrise. Not sure if you can help out, but you can recruit her by pretending you've enslaved her yourself and those gnomes\halflings fall for it.

Gale can be killed upon first meeting if you're the Dark urge - bye bye arm, and he falls into the portal never to be seen again. I assume he blows up wherever that portal leads.

I've heard that if you sleep with minthara as a durge you get the option to snap her neck after. So, that's an option.

Get outta here, you can interact with the Kua-Toa?!? I had no idea! Only found the cove in my second playthrough.

You can get rid of Shadowheart by not bringing her to the gauntlet of shar while going there, or letting balthazar take the nightsong.

Halsin can be 'forgotten' if you let the shadows destroy the shadowfel portal.

Laezel will momentarilly leave party when you approach the northern pass to approach the gith. If you dont follow her, she will be offed by Voss.

Also not forget sacrificing a character of choice to Booaal. the remainders in the party gets a buff that lasts to their next death and the kuo toa is left unmollested to chant, gives advantage on attack rolls against bleeding targets.

The Slayer Form has a bleeder move.

I never stake Astarion as he can get a potion with permanent +2 strenght in act2 with a quick visit to moonrise and talking with the bloodmage drow that anyone can use. Reputedly you can lose Astarion in Baldurs Gate if you let the invading spawn kidnap him.

Refuse to give Gale any magic items and he, eventually, leaves.

Kill the Grove: Lose Wyll and Karlach. Lose Halsin, gain Minthara. You can also lose Gale here if you don't drive him off earlier. They all don't actually die, but I think Wyll & Karlach turn into Illithids?

Stake Asterion.

Let Shadowheart kill Lae'zel in camp (or side with Lae'zel and kill Shadowheart).

Sacrifice Shadowheart (or Lae'zel) to BOOAL.

You can just leave Minthara to her fate in Act 2, but if not you can drive off Shadowheart in Act 2 and sacrifice Minthara to BOOAL instead. You can also lose Halsin if you just ignore the Grove/Tieflings and move onto Act 2; if you save him he comes along for the Act 2 plot but won't join you after.

Regarding Lae'zel - you can just let Shadowheart kill her lol

Karlach will get pissed off and fight you if you kill everyone at the grove before finding her. I think that may be the only way to get rid of her

Shadowheart will fight you during the Night Song scene in Act 2 if you fail your rolls

Chaotic Evil run can easily leave you with less than 3 companions if you just be a ♥♥♥♥. Literally had trouble keeping a full party when I tried it

Refuse to feed Gale and he blows up and kills everyone. I want to live, yo! Also, I don't want to "lose" characters, I want them to die by my plot choices, directly. Giving Asterion to his daddy to sacrifice is more along the lines of what I'm looking for, not having someone wander away from camp just because my cooking sucks.

Gale leaves and blows up on his own if he likes you enough. The rest turn into Mindflayers, IIRC. There aren't as many plot methods to straight up kill them as there are to just get them to ♥♥♥♥ off and die off screen. Even still, you can often force them to attack you for doing stuff they are diametrically opposed to and just kill them that way, which is probably the closest you'll get for Karlach.
So, do you ever encounter the companions that wander off and turn into mind flayers?
