Using Glut like that is clever.
It took me a few minutes but using Lazael it's not hard to find the spot right near the noblestalk where it's safe to land and dash from (it's close to where you dig up the cache). Laz can jump forever and a day, so she's the obvious choice to jump from the mushrooms above or the void nearby.
btw, who is the old lady in the city?
