Astarion relationship question/ bit relationship spoilers

So suppose slight spoilers for some parts but im with astarion right now just bit into 2nd act and wyll triggered the dance scene. seen alot say they hate how sad he looks when u turn him down so out of curiosity i went and kissed him. after rest talked to astarion and he noticed. i told him i wanted him not wyll and id end it. he pretty much went "wait what why? oh of course you would" and wyll took it ok it seems. so will this cause any issues with astarion down the road? think ive seen where he is fine if you with another person along with him but im just worried this may cause issues. rly want to romance astarion and dont wana get cucked ;-;

He can bear more than the other romances but you will figure out that bearing and being happy about it are two different things. It won't affect your romance development, though.

My advice is to treat him as an equal, try not to hurt him but do not bow to every single whim of him as well. If you romance him long enough, you will know what I mean.

I was with both SH and Astarion in the whole Act 1. Then in Act 2 SH pulled back.

i see, should i reload save to not kiss wyll at all? literally like 5 mins away from that save. its just wyll looked so damn heartbroken when you dance and turn your head away. he is good boi he no deserve ;-;

Wyll is probably the type to not be into polyamory so you're forced to pick between the two, but Astarion is fine with poly. I romanced him then on Act 3 I got with Halsin (he's into poly too) but I had the option to ask Astarion first if he was ok with it, he didn't mind at all. So, I doubt it will cause you any issues.

ya i saw a vid of some with astarion being fine at least at the moment with tav with halsin too. i did break it off with wyll. id rather keep playing just cuz seems wyll took it better than the heartbreaking moment of him walking away when you turn your head away. and astarion seemed semi happy i chose him over wyll. im just trying to make sure wont somehow ruin stuff with him

I think you should not reload. It should not affect anything. It is all roleplay in this case. it depends on what kind of character you play.

I went pretty much through the same thing but with Gale. I chose Astarion over him and Astarion was like oh you didn't have to but he was happy. Never had any issues after that.
