You're asking a subjective question that we cant answer for you because better in this case is determined by your subjective interests.
That said there are tons of videos and twitch streams out there for your to watch and decide for yourself.
Better to ask which is better, Baldur's Gate 3 or Starfield.
Or
Which is better, Diablo 4 or Lost Ark
BG3 is turn based so slower combat however you have a party of 4 instead of just one in Diablo. Also you have alot more options in BG3 as you have what 12 classes all of whom can be merged with other classes instead of Diablo 4 having 5 classes and nothing else. Also in BG 3 you have races so a lot more cosmetic options as far as your character.
D4 has much easier and fast paced gameplay, it also has PvP zones which actually feel dangerous and thrilling as you can get ganked by other random players .
Back in the day I chose Diablo 2 over BG2 and never finished BG2.
But today I much more like BG3 over D4, I feel Diablo has a big problem and that’s all Diablo games are the same. Every one from D2 , D3 , D4 starts with 5 classes then they add 2 more with expansions and the story is always the same . Diablo attack’s sanctuary and all of a sudden the entire map is filled with demons and undead and you need to squash him.
Noting original , just the same old song
BG3 has new types of enemies, different final boss, cinematic cut scenes etc.
So if you like a game for the story and are ok with slower combat and more options for character development go BG3
If you just like to blow some steam and just kill masses of enemies with a rather basic story , then go D4.
look up the number and let them do the talk.
Right now, BG3 is a better CRPG than D4 is an ARPG. But still, two real different games and you can have a good time with either.
Put aside the comparison, D4 is still a terrible buy.
The story of D4 was good and the cinematics were awesome. But that literally only took me about 35 levels and then I got to lvl 100 of D4 by spinning circles for hundreds of hours. Literally. Just. Spinning. Some people like spending hundreds or thousands of hours spinning circles around the screen just to re-kill the boss they had defeated 70 levels earlier, and D4 is for them.
BG3 is a whole different level. I enjoyed nearly everything about it and I've spent hundreds+ hours playing it different ways. That said, some people are turned off by the combat because it's turned-based rather than holding the same button the entire time.
