Auntie Ethel's clones are illusions, they have 1 hp.

Use Magic missile to target them and kill them all in one turn.

Use thrown grenades that deal guaranteed damage if you can't use magic missile

Sneak up on Auntie Ethel from stealth and shove her into the bottomless pit. Or, sneak up on Auntie Ethel with Battlemaster Lae'zel and fear her, then burn her to the ground while she runs in panic and never gets the chance to summon any clones in the first place.

Use something that disables her before she starts cloning. Had a party of cleric, warlock, str warrior, and dex warrior. Used dex to hit her with fear (had the str for backup in case of a miss) and positioned warriors for opportunity strikes whenever I could. Warlock and Imp familiar had enough range to damage her (If Wyll could ever fkin hit) and cleric used cantrips to improve hit chance (the light one can't remember its name). 4-5 turns and she went down without a fight.

Can't promise this will work for you since everything rides on warriors accuracy and fear chance. Maybe purchase some scrolls of holding or any other stun spells/items (like grease?) to stop her from using that ability.

Auntie Ethel's fight atm is reminiscent of the patch 5 harpy fight where you get CC'd to death.

You shouldn't have to resort to cheesy tactics on Classic difficulty, so I hope the dev team will look at her fight a bit like how they adjusted the harpy fight again to stop them CC-ing you to death too.

Auntie used to gave me a hard time.
Until I realise that you can just silence her and smash her sticky nose into her face and she can barely do one thing.

I destroyed Ethel before she runs into her hideout
i had saved up about 6 speed potions and as each character had their turn i had them drink one potion of speed, which gave them an extra shot at her. I was able to kill her before she ran off. i used my sorcerer, Gale, Shadowheart, and Astarion in my party and the sorcerer spells especially the orb are pretty powerful at Level 4. If you kill her before she runs into the hideout you then can enter her hideout and do not have to fight her slave people. you can walk right past them and go to Mayrina. It is the easiest way i found to be rid of Ethel. If i have to fight her in her hideout. sneak up and drink strength potion, then push her into abyss. Thats another way. Hope you are able to beat her OP. Just keep trying. Save right before you fight her. :)

I can't remember for sure, but I think Protection from Good and Evil will protect against the Hold Person spells.

A silence bubble so she can’t cast then make sure she stay in there while beating the ever loving life out of her

just silence here at the top and put a party member at the fireplace makes her become stupid and not do anything for all her turns

This is why I wished the raised the level cap to 5, most of the stuff you fight in this area is level 5 and I had the redcaps pretty much one shot my Warriors....it's annoying. At least with release we can go level up and than come back to this area if needed.
