Same here. For now, it seems to be patching very slowly without showing anything actually being downloaded.

So mine started at 2.8gb, but now I am at 69.8gb out of 85gb but it is also increasing the amount. I just looked again and now I am at 69.5gb out of 105gb steam is confusing my brain

Yea this seems pretty funky. Altough so far my 2.8GB download runs fine and I seem to have all the new content so I guess it's fine?

Its 2.8GB, patch adds a lot but the assets aren't enormous in size.

Download mismatches on steam can occur if your drive you're downloading the patch too needs defragging badly or the install folders data has been corrupted to some degree (which is why it varies).

This can also occur with mods, with the improper removal of them or just the lack of a clean install. Steam (and the games download package) will think you have missing files or doesn't recognise the files and so it either downloads the whole game again or only a small part of it.

So 4.8GB, 30GB, 100GB etc etc.

It can also be a bug in the download package as well that triggers under certain conditions which is why not everyone is affected.
