When real sale?

This is one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time, years after release and still getting tens of thousands of players on pc daily, it will not have that big of a discount for a decade.

It will never be cheap. Steam USED to have great sales on old games for cheap $5ish etc. Now every game is priced at 4 times what its worth if not more and goes on sale for 1/4 of that cost making you pay what its worth when its on sale like you won something. so these $100-70 dollar games when ON SALE here go to 29.99 like its a sale LOL.

You're saying that as if it's not up to the publishers to have a final say on discounts during sales.

I would say this game is cheap taking into account that you'll be having a few hundreds of hours playing it with multiple completely different stories every run. Even Larian said that their game is too cheap and to not expect any significant cut.

I wouldn’t even think there be any serious price reduction till they release a new game… I mean this game is still top performer in numbers on steam charts when looking at single player games that don’t require the internet to play , not counting updates and crossover play.

There's no reason to think that the discount will be any larger, though.

The characters are almost entirely unlikable(I realise this is opinion) falling into the evil camp, the barb is the only one I think could be called good, the wizard is neutral at best, the druid too, the rest, easily fall into the evil camp. (avoiding spoilers as much as I can)

All in all, I'd say the 50% or so mark for price is probably where it should land, it's not a bad game, just incomplete, and far too simplified mechanically.

Ah yes, Wyll is truly a despicable, evil man. As are Jaheira, Minsc, and definitely Boo.

They have not gone beyond this current discount percentage for some time. I bought it already since I love Larian and I believe in rewarding good companies for their efforts. I did wait for a discount though. So I can understand waiting and there is no issue since it is a single player game and not a game where population or other players, presence is needed.

Bro has a dozen of Reviews with AAA games he paid for and played them average 2-3 hours, if even. Half of which end with "I didnt understand"
