How do people get so many repeat runs in?
So yeah, how do y'all who keep replaying over and over not get bored with it? The story doesn't really change (unless I'm missing something), so does it all come down to build variety?

Legit curious since my brother and I will be starting a play through, and I've already played through the story 1.5 times.

Every time I run through; you can encounter entire new lines of dialogue. I have... MMO levels of hours into this game and I still encounter entire new braches of dialogue. Just try different races, class combo's and conversational directions ... or sneak kill NPC's (get away with it) and see what backup pathways the devs snuck in.
There are novels that I've probably read at least 50 times, and I still enjoy reading them.

Maybe my main issue is I struggle to play in a different way. My brain always wants to do the same thing, the "good" way.

I need to try and reboot it and do something different, I guess.

hundreds of different build combinations with a dozen of different endings that still fall under the umbrella of good. Just experiment.

I dunno its just insane to me that people complain about replayablity in a game with so many different routes and ways to play. Not to mention online features and insane amount of well developed/updated mods. Like bro what are you doing

Well, it is easy for me to do it ( 2600+ hrs in the game, 12 game finishing play runs, numerous ones I never have finished. ) because there is a serous lack of good quality games available now and have been lacking the last 9 years, apart from BG3. One reason I also have 4500+ hrs in Fallout 4.

I am also retired. And BG3 is the type of game you can have a different play run in a lot of different ways. Depending on the class you choose, companions and ether a good or evil play thru and doing quests you never did before.

And I am still discovering new stuff in the game. It is packed with a ton of content.

I'm sorry, are you accusing -me- of complaining?

I'm asking an actual question to make the most out of my next play through.

Has Steam forums really come to the level that any question at all is just someone complaining?

That's wild.

On my second play through that fell apart (just got distracted with another game) I intentionally dragged ass to try and find every single thing to do.

I -have- to be missing stuff, I just can't figure out where, lol

The Dark Urge is the best play run I have did. First time, I did the full evil play thru. After that run, I always do the redemptive path.

the cloak you get early on from the Butler is one of the best in the game. You get it no matter which path you take..

Well damn, maybe that's what I'll do then!
The story does change if you’re playing different origins and being good or evil.

I’ve gotten a solid 4 ish playthroughs that were unique unique. The rest were just build variety challenge runs.
welll, for me its like the whole game has so many content to a point where i just cant remember all the details after not playing for a while. so like yeah, its repetitive, but not if i feel like its new
