Literally was about to reinstall when I checked the Larian twitter to find that patch 8 comes out on April 15.

On the other hand, those new subclasses are looking pretty neat

Keeping your game working is 100% achievable, even if you're using mods. You just need to know what you're doing.

its impossible to know but if i had to guess id say by 16 UTC based purely on the time of an average work day and the timezone of Larian Studios.

could be wrong it could come out in a few hours or maybe theyll wait to put it out till late evening theres no way to know

I assume it would be a good idea to set BGMM to NOT auto-update since staying on patch 7 for a while to see what mods update might not work if it automatically installs a patch 8 version of BGSE.

go to steam and try your luck with disabling the automatic updates.

Yes, in the settings in Steam.

That is just to stop the game from updating until you launch the game. By turning off auto updates.

To stop it when you want to play, ether launch the game from the exe. or go Offline Mode in Steam before starting the game.
