Larian taking time and not rushing this out is something to be confident about, but even then, BG3 is a huge game.
Can you read? Because thousands of people have already answered your questions.
If I wanted to watch morons living on their videos taking 30 mins just to tell me "it's strawberry flavored" between the lines, weel, I wouldn't have asked here. I may still be young, but i'm not planning to get old listening to every moron who bought himslef a webcam and a fancy hat hoping to become rich singing ♥♥♥♥. AND I don't want to spoil anything form the game on any videos. Didn't even wathced the trailer yet. I want its virginity ;)
I envy your free time :)
Mainly it was because I wanted to play the whole game (not EA) at first but I was also worried it would not live up to my expectations as a sequel to BG1 and 2 and the more I read about all the "romance" stuff I got more put off. That stuff ruined the Dragon Age series for me, not even bothered with last one.
So far it seems pretty good, story seems interesting and it gives lots of ways to complete every objective which I was the best parts of Planescape Torment. Not getting constantly hit on either, hopefully if you just say "no thanks" once, we can just play our game.
By the way have you looked at Solasta (also D&D), its very different to this game but I love it, better suited to a strategy player perhaps.
Dude nobody cares that you're a homophobe. Just play the game or don't. All romances are completely optional regardless of your sexual orientation.
Thanks for the pertinet answer :)
I hate EA games too, too many variations and "fixes" on the fly for my taste. Just do the damn game already as they did once I say. nvm that. Anyway, such is the gaming world today.
I saw Solasta but didn't really catch my attention, I'll give it a deeper look, thanks :)
So much free time, one day you'll regret to have wasted it like this, trust me :)
It only got better.
Added you to block list with all the other cringe rightwing culture warriors who don't actually want to play video games and just want to complain about other people being happy.
You probably won't like the personality of most of the default companions as most of them are quite young drama-queens of both sexs with lots of traumas, but you can choose to keep only those you like and kill or abandon the others and replace them if needed by silent hirelings that you can mold to your liking.
I also second the recommandation for Solasta, best implementation ever of the D&D rule system and a more classic style of game that might be more to your liking than the florishing exuberance of BG3.
Now reading your OP i think the game isn't for you.
Have a nice day.
Have finished the game 12 times. Numerous runs I never finished.
