How to automatically choose class version of fire bolt cantrip?

I am a half elf sorcerer with with high elf as my subrace. I took fire bolt at character creaton (casts with INT), I've also got fire bolt as a cantrip from being a sorcerer (casts with CHA). My CHA is 18 and my INT is 17, which means the version that casts with CHA has a higher chance to hit.

Whenever I choose fire bolt on my hotbar it defaults to casting with INT, but offers me the chance to select which one I want to cast. Since the one casting with CHA has a higher chance to hit, I'd prefer that chosen automatically. RIght now I can't find out how to change this.

I've seen threads that say you can just choose the one you want in your spellbook. While there are two separate fire bolts in there, regardless of what I choose, it will still just default to casting as the subrace cantrip rather than the class cantrip.

Anyone know how to get it to default to the higher hitrate version or just let me decide which is on my hotbar?

I've got the improved hotbar mod if that changes anything.

Edit: I just respecced my character at withers and got rid of firebolt there.
