Scroll Learning Cantrips??
Just found I had a Fire Bolt & Shocking Grasp scrolls in my inventory and it reads that it can be learned via Wizard inscribing?? :cozycastondeath:

Is that... a thing? Or is it same as the bit how they can inscribe Cleric spells also...?

I believe there's a bug that lets them currently learn any spell scroll. But in DnD Wizards can learn any spell from the Wizard spell list from scrolls.

Edit: You can right click and hit learn spell for a gold cost.

Well that's something you can do in D&D so I would assume that you can do it in BG3 too. It's one of the main attractions to being a wizard. I'm not sure how though.

Yeah spells I know but I thought Cantrips weren't able to be inscribed? Ive even had DM that said that there was no way to learn extra Cantrips... :steamsad:

Oh. I overlooked "cantrip" somehow. Yeah, you shouldn't be able to learn cantrips that way. Only 1st-9th level spells.

That's actually a good point. It's limited to level 1 spells

OK lol, thanks for clarifying

In D&D 5e Cantrips cannot be learned from scrolls nor scribed into a spellbook. Wizards know Cantrips, they do not prepare them, and learn more Cantrips when advancing to specific levels in the Wizard class.

Definitely felt way OP to be able to learn every Wizard Cantrip lol
