DnD nerds are butthurt
DnD is such a great game and concept but the culture of the fanboys is ruining everything and the crying is so pathetic. Baldurs Gate 3 is great, get over it.

I have the same opinion about people who can't stand to miss an attack.

Oh yeah, nerds who hate RNG.

Could be worse. It could be like XCOM.
Might have been better if instead of calling it BG3, the had named the game "Faerun eXtreme" or "Div Sword Coast" or something.

I have seen Xcom mentioned many of times, what is this?

I'm not sure really. My take on it is xcom had a sequel and it blew chunks. That's not my opinion of this game, but that's what I get out of it.

You can miss a 99% chance to hit because I think it is already predetermined if you are going to miss or not. That game can be fun, but frustrating.

1st one was ok imo. 2nd one I played for a couple hours and decided if I was going to be timed I may as well go to work and get paid for it.

I just replayed the introduction level to Baldur's Gate 2. There is more text in Irenicus's library than in the entire Act 1 of Baldur's Gate 3. *shrug*

Feels liked a dumbed down console D&D game from the 00s rather than a sequel to Baldur's Gate 2. Graphics and constant 1 on 1 interrogations don't make for very inventive dialog scenes.

I just modded the timer out in that game. I highly recommend =]

Yeah that's why I never beat the second one. I hate time limits.

XCom 2 is well thought of by most, but people complained vociferously that the RNG was screwed up because of the number of times you could have a high percentage to hit and still miss. The devs released the info on the RNG generator, and it turns out they had actually altered the RNG in favor of the player.

It's amusing reading people's posts on these boards. So many people praising Pathfinder: Kingmaker, and yet that game can't even break 4k players. Divinity: Original Sin 2 on the other hand maintains a steady 17-19k daily. Numbers don't lie - clearly, most people enjoy Larian's approach to cRPG's. And WOTC is right is giving them the license to make this game. Deal with it.
Now I'm reinstalling Xcom

Thanks.

If anyone wants a real challenge go play the original xcom games.
