Whispering Promise Ring worth it?
In the goblin camp. Upon healing a creature grants d4 bonus to attack rolls and saving throws.

Nobody in my party counts as creatures do they? So is this ring literally useless?

That ring is amazing.
a free bless when you heal pretty much.

Yourself and your party members all count as creatures. As do spiders, goblins, golems, zombies, skeletons, etc.

I never tested it, but I believe it gives the benefit to the caster if they use a health potion or eat food.

It does. I was using the gloves that grant blade ward to the recipient of healing spells you cast and the ring that gives you bless whenever you heal by any means on Shadowheart. Was pretty nice.

I think the gloves can only be used on others. The ring can be used on yourself.

I was wondering about that with the shattered flail that heals you when you hit (with a risk of confusion) and the amulet that poisons your weapon every time you heal. It all kind of sounds like a set if there were only something to make one immune to confusion. And then I wonder if Armor of Agathys would count as the damage to stop the confusion.

Humans, Elves, and other playable races *usually* don't count as creatures in DnD far as I'm aware?

That'd be like a centaur, a summoned creature like your cat, or a spider, or a summoned bear or wolf or something.

The ring DOES work when shadowheart uses it to heal Astarion or Lae'zel ?
