I'll see myself out.
Or is a usuable item for crafting, which still hasn't hit EA, you know.

the crafting in the divinity games was quite bad.
The Wizard Gale slipped off while climbing down a cliff and took damage. He didn't seem to have that problem again once he had rope equipped and I have not seen him fall since.
I think one-time use ropes of finite quantity in-game, combined with many many "rope-able" points where the rope stays there would be brilliant, more spots than ropes but plenty of desirable places to get to. Like in real life, if you tie a rope to get up or down somewhere, that rope stays there.
