BOOOAL

Was wondering if any of you ran into BOOOAL in the underdark. I managed to persuade him that he was just a fey, killed him. All of his followers (Fishes) dispersed during the fight and if I attempt to talk to their leader, the dialogue can't be continued. Basically, you're stuck there clicking options but nothing happens. Pretty sure it's because it's early access but just confirming, anyone notice the same?

I succeeded a persuasion check telling him he was just a redcap. At that point he and his fish followers just attack me.

Tried to do the same but ended up with everyone attacking me. Also, that rare sickle of BOOOAL is the only rare item without anything exciting in it. That being said, fish people ftw

Ah interesting. I went through the insight roll, and he was seen as fey, after which I persuaded them that he was no god resulting in a solo fight with Boooal. The fishfolk then wanted to worship my character as a god, there were options but it seems none could be chosen, had to reload to get out of it lol.

You can actually sacrifice one of your party members to him and get permanent feat which gives you an advantage against bleeding targets.

pretty good feat for fighter, as you can set ur target to bleed with lacerate and get ur advantage, amazing feat for rogue, if ur carrying scimitar - same, lacerate, get advantage and can use sneak attacks onto bleeding target, good enough for beastmaster, as you can make ur opponent bleed with one of ur pets and there we go =)

I fed him astarion as i'm not using him at all, basically playing beast master ranger and i cover all of the reasons to have rogue in party with mc, so astarion can only give me some story progress, but nothing apart from that =)

Necro all the old threads you want. Far more interesting than what's going on the last few days.
I love the fish folk, this encounter is so hidden and easy to miss I almost wish it was a bit easier to stumble onto, but at the same time it's pretty great that there are hidden gems like this to search out.
