You can actually sacrifice one of your party members to him and get permanent feat which gives you an advantage against bleeding targets.
pretty good feat for fighter, as you can set ur target to bleed with lacerate and get ur advantage, amazing feat for rogue, if ur carrying scimitar - same, lacerate, get advantage and can use sneak attacks onto bleeding target, good enough for beastmaster, as you can make ur opponent bleed with one of ur pets and there we go =)
I fed him astarion as i'm not using him at all, basically playing beast master ranger and i cover all of the reasons to have rogue in party with mc, so astarion can only give me some story progress, but nothing apart from that =)
I love the fish folk, this encounter is so hidden and easy to miss I almost wish it was a bit easier to stumble onto, but at the same time it's pretty great that there are hidden gems like this to search out.
