I think you have a misunderstanding how Spiritual Weapon works, it is one of the best cleric spells and its absence is one of the reasons people currently think clerics are one of the weaker classes.
Spiritual Weapon:
"You create a floating, spectral weapon within range that lasts for the Duration or until you cast this spell again. When you cast the spell, you can make a melee spell Attack against a creature within 5 feet of the weapon. On a hit, the target takes force damage equal to 1d8 + your Spellcasting Ability modifier.
As a Bonus Action on Your Turn, you can move the weapon up to 20 feet and repeat the Attack against a creature within 5 feet of it."
This gives a level 3 cleric the ability to attack twice a turn for an entire combat scenario, something a fighter can't even do until level 5. Also the spell doesn't require concentration.
Feather fall.
This is more like dancing weapon high level mage spell -- which is much more powerful.
