HELP with Sussur trees

So, i was doing the sussur bark quest on the underdark and defeated the hook horrors as well as the mage, even the bulette showed up to play. So i killed everyone went up on the tree and on the spot where you are supposed to find the bark there was nothing, i mean i seemed like someone already took it and the tree had the "scar" after you pick it up, im quite stuck now and cant find it anywhere. Help please!!

There are actually lots of places to pick up sussur blooms around the tree - I found 4 or 5 of them on various branches.

If you're really stuck, you can also search around the base of the arcane tower.

Check your inventory for a ? looking item, the bark item seems to have no icon yet and its just a place holder symbol. Other than that, i cant help you, i have picked the bark up on 2 different play throughs.

i did, its not in my inventory tho, it was gone way before i approached to click it

im not looking for the blossoms, but the bark in of itself, although i'll try the tower maybe there's some there

You have to walk along the roots to the center of the tree. The best path is to take the one right next to the portal. Then you also have to pass a nature check to be able to remove a chunk.

After that, the quest didn't update for me and it says I still need to find some. It also won't let me combine the three suggested weapons to it.

You have to go back to the Blacksmiths basement and put the Sussur Bark in the forge/combine it with the forge, then the forge will light up and then you place one of the three weapons you want to be made in the forge/combine with the forge.

i know that, the problem lies in that the bark is not where is supposed to be in the tree, and also not in my inventory, i don't have any idea where it went

so mine all died when i went to my camp. don't go to camp with them. how do i get to the tower?

i know that, the problem lies in that the bark is not where is supposed to be in the tree, and also not in my inventory, i don't have any idea where it went

You most likely destroyed it before you picked it up. The bark has 10 HP...so it is really easy to destroy it by a misclick and fireing an arrow at it, or using a fireball or quite a few spells or items like that.
