Some mechanics feel like an empty shell
I've tried many things with knocking enemies out but you can't even talk to them afterwards. What's the point of having the option if it doesn't change anything. Maybe I'm missing something?

Same with jumping, while it's neat in combat, while exploring I just notice patches of land I can't reach cuz there is this small brush conveniently in the way. Makes it feel like the world is laid out for me.

hate it when devs does this, ruins exploration and immersion. lazy design.

Knocking out is a bit weird.

**SPOILER**

I knocked out Nettie instead of killing her, quest still recorded it as me killing her.

Don't forget the game is in EA, a lot of features need refinement or don't have a purpose yet. I think knocking enemies out is one of them. Although, you could knock out an opponent in BG/BG2 (use unarmed attacks if you aren't a Monk), but they never made any use of that feature.

With jumping, I've noticed that choosing your landing position can be finicky. Given that some areas have messed up walk meshes (like the burning inn), it will probably take them a few passes to get these things working smoothly. Having a high strength can help with jumping by giving you a bigger radius.

I know it's just prerelease but there are so many things that feel like are not complete. Like the silence spell not being usable to stop an enemy npc to scream for help. I can only hope they add these small things that make the game an actual dnd experience where you figure out a way to handle situations on your own.

It would feel like a huge waste of potential.

Knocking an enemy out let's them wake up after a long rest. Killing them doesn't. Because they're dead.
