BG3 on twitch, nobody playing?

Number of ppl streaming atm is 2240, position 80+, more ppl streaming Heroes of the Storm than this EA. More ppl streaming Old School RuneScape than a Moden "CRPG".
Even so when this game has innovations for streaming.

Whats happening?

I have been RPG gaming since the Commadore and 286sx. Gold Box series... Before that infocom games. I have created multiple profiles with multiple character configurations. Working through different runs to make the game better for me, and provide feedback to make the game better for other for later. (to me EA = Beta). Look at Microsoft, they just field it. No EA.

Yeah only one of the most PC games in the world that's infinitely replayable. Shocking.

More people are watching chess and poker too. Now those are some old games. Also I checked and HOMM3 isn't even on the front page. Which means it's not a regular game people stream and you just compared some popular streamer trying out HOMM3 to BG3. Good job.

Now that I'm looking at the list of streamed games BG3 is among the most popular single player games though the numbers are still low because only personalities draw people in to SP games.

Any other dishonest points you are trying to make?

What's happening is that it's a single player RPG with limited EA content... variety streamers do a playthrough then switch to something else. Numbers will probably spike up again for a few days after release, then drop to basically nothing again. Whatever "innovations for streaming" there are doesn't change the fact that single player RPGs don't make for popular Twitch streams.

It's BG3. Lot of streamers just wanted to test the waters and not play iti too much before the full release to not spoil the game too much for themselves.

Also, the state of the game right now is not representative of the final product. The EA of D:OS2 was VASTLY different from its final product. This will be the same for BG3. Act 1 will be vastly different when the full release comes.

Yea but when comparing BG3 to BG2 ppl tend to use the argument that BG2 is 20 years old / grow up. Like if old game = bad thing.

I think it's a reflection of how the game was received by the public... Almost nobody streaming it.

Its pretty clear that this is just trolling (everybody knows the answer to his question because its logical - SP-Games never where this popular on twitch especially story driven and Top-Down-RPGs - and yes EA of a Story game will be even less popular on Twitch - who cares ...) - why do people reply to every single troll thread and identical topic threads - yet seem to ignore most in terresting threads that are actually about the game?

Over 26k playing on steam atm. The only thing in my library that I could find that has more people on is Ark which has so much gameplay it could eat years of those peoples lives. Not bad for like 1/5 of a game with bugs.
