How much more would you enjoy BG3 without woke elements?

Dame Aylin would be a cooler character. Other than that I don't see the issue. Then again I don't think the lesbian part is the problem, I think she's just written like garbage.

Personally I don't have a problem with them, it's just the lil things like bodytype 1 2 3 4 and others that pile up and become annoying. As it's just these activists/ideologists forcing their worldview on the many. Whenever I can, I either don't buy or mod it out.

Reminds me of Kasmeer and Marjory from Guild Wars 2.
Writting like crap on top of being clear token characters. Unfortunately, instead of weaving things properly they just force them here and there, to tick boxes and it shows.

It's the same type of people who get triggered if you tell them "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" so I don't think there's reasoning with them. You just have to pander to them and them alone or they start crying.

I've never seen where the "force" part comes in, From the creatives I've known ( in media other than gaming, FWIW), they think that this approach is just good. If anything, the force that's applied comes from the other direction, as the suits sometimes tell them to knock it off.

You can fix the most blatant wokeness with mods if it bothers you. Even without mods fixing that it's still awesome game, easily 10/10. Only things I would've loved to see would be some RNG elements like drops, random events after resting and maybe some random NPCs that might appear in zones to potentially make fights harder. Ohh and optional invasions allowing you to play dungeon master; take control of existing enemies or being able to create some makeshift group to ambush/fight player with and add some traps around to keep seasoned players on their toes
