Act 3 Gortash fight bug?

Just tried fighting gortash in act 3 and for some reason, every time myself or my friend did damage he just reactivated Avatar of Tyranny and regained his temp. hp

Same thing happened to me very recently! Glad I'm not the only one; the way I fixed it was by restarting the game, and loading a save file just before entering Gortash's fight room. I didn't try many other things besides that, but hopefully that works for you guys!

I just encounter this bug, and this fixes it.

I encountered this bug too. I escaped the fight by jumping from the roof to the bridge, then came back after a full rest. Then it worked as intended.

Or even saving your current stage when the issue happens and then reloading that save. Which works for me esp with companion pathing/freezing issues. Has also worked with some other bugs.

reloading the game mid fight - when the issue already manifested didn't fix for me. But reloading prior to starting the fight did.

Funny this issue still occurres in December lol. Stuck here at the moment

I had the same problem when I fought him for the first time. Reloading before going in to face him fixed it and I managed to take him down on the second attempt.

Not happend today, killed him maybe 6 hrs ago. But just in one turn, but there he also activated his avatar

my brother and i are co-op/playing together with minimal mods and this is still happening...we get to the room lure him out of the main room he is in, hit him once after his deflection shield goes down and he insta heals back to 150hp. he continues to heal after every single hit.
