Spectator with honor legendary was a much tougher fight than without, that is true.
Not enough feats to commit to Alert on my part, but I'm only playing tactician. But the thought of robbing a feat-heavy build of one precious feat to manage ambushes is tough to swallow.
Big hitters going the GWM + PAM route = 2 feats
Tanky pally going the Heavy Armor + Savage Attacker (for smites) = 2 feats
DW builds needing Dual Wielder + Savage Attacker (to get base damage up) = 2 feats
Casters need Resilient: CON + War caster = 2 feats
And that's before we get to any ASI!
So Alert is terrific, but is it as important as following through on your build idea? Or do we need to dumb down our build aspirations just to make sure we are first-strike capable?

Rule 1 of Honour mode: If ANY battle goes South, you head North :D
Meaning... When the battle starts badly, or when ANTYTHING does not happens according to your plan and it is critical, even if you think that victory is still possible: withdraw, revive, regroup, resupply, counter-attack
What are you talking about? LoL Play Drakon or whatever race and u have a lot of cc to not get one shotted or control minded or interrupted
