Leap of Faith is so so BAD and it got worse

Leap of faith has always been the worst part of the game, but I got passed it but now the same way I got passed it isn't working anymore and I'll follow guide to a t but it's iffy so I'm just dying over and over and over and if I get passed this ♥♥♥♥ this'll be the last time because I can't enjoy new play through having this issue, I can't stand this thing I'm being gate keeped and I'm genuinely about to never touch this game again. This is so bad

The path is on the floor, but not everyone has the best spacial awareness, so they might not be able to translate it too well onto the actual trial, and I've even had shadowheart turn just slightly too tight a corner and fall off.

Also, as someone with aphantasia, I dislike this trial because I have no visual imagination or memory, so I have to constantly switch back from where my character is standing to the pattern on the floor to double and triple check that I'm going the correct route.

Use the overhead view, follow the map and save lots. I managed to do it in one try without falling off 2 days ago.

Aphantasia would make this more difficult, yes, but you could also take a screenshot (Steam now lets you "pin" windows in its overlay so they're visible in-game) or even draw it on a sheet of paper if you want to go old-school.

This has to be the biggest "skill issue" post ever. This is literally the easiest portion of the Gauntlet of Shar quest line.

Daylight + either Misty Step or Fly = done in less than a minute without all the hassle.

There are many ways to tackle the trial as with literally anything in the game that a rant is quite literally unnecessary.

I just did that Monday evening. Just as easy as it ever was. Turn-based mode. Look for the changes in the movement line. I didn't even bother with the pattern at the start of the puzzle. Took less than 5 minutes. Not sure how much less but less than 5.

Fly doesn't work anymore. If you try that, it counts as failed and you get teleported back to the beginning.

It's actually the hardest after they disabled the possibility to use fly / misty step 2/3 of the trial.

Yeah, in non honour mode you can just save scum your way, but on the lower difficulties everything is a non issue in the game.

It sure does, did it recently in Honor Mode. Recently being earlier this week.

It becomes easy when you just throw junk on the floor and go where it not disappears

Every time I've done it, I bring Shadowheart, let her do the offering, and it's a clearly visible dark purple path straight to the goal.

So, not sure what the issue is.
