Too many girl bosses
90% of the time whenever there's some commanding officer barking out orders to subordinates it's a female, and it always looks and sounds silly. The voice actor tries to deepen her voice and talk like a man, but it never sticks.

Anyone notice?

Women look silly when trying to fill the shoes of men. I see a 5'4 110 lbs woman with a wide stance, in oversized armor, trying to deepen her voice while barking out commands and I cringe. It's similar to the feeling I get when little kids try to sound and act like grownups. It looks off. Unnatural.

It feels about 50/50 split to me. I mean you have voss and the boss in the creche are men, the doctor and the ranked but lesser commander miniboss are women. In the tower it fees like more men than women. You have kagha druid and halsin, etc.
Of those, the only one that sorta feels like a drill sarge voice and behavior is the lesser gith commander chick, and their society is militaristic so that isn't out of place. Same everywhere else... minthra is feminine, though she barks orders well enough its still not with a man's approach and wouldn't be as men are inferior in their race (and with spiders). Im gonna ignore the hag, who is feminine as a human and trollish in true form ... shes a monster, after all.
So no, I don't really agree with this one.

W'wargaz isn't the boss of Krech Y'llek, that would be Kith'rak Therezzyn who hold all the power. W'wargaz only held temporary commanding authority because he answered directly to queen Vlaathkith and acting on her order. Otherwise the whole Krech answered to Therezzyn on anything related to the Krech's activity.

Welcome to modern gaming. BG3 had amazing combat and story, though, so it’s easy to overlook. If it really bothers you, you can mod it out.
they banned all the mods that that would do such thing. Wokeness is compulsory and non-negotiatable in this game.
And who is "they?"

And when he moved in he totally and deliberately undermined her authority, making the female commander look a pathetic failure and a fool. Wouldn't that be "anti-woke?" Or maybe the writers weren't so obsessed with politics and just wrote good stories.

It doesn't bother me when the story and characters are good. Problem with actual woke games is their story and characters suck, so stuff like this stands out more.
Bingo.
Woke isn't having a woman commander in a fantasy game.
Woke is having a gay black dangerhair woman leading armies in a realistic depiction of medieval spain.

So, what you're really upset about is bad writing. You just decided to take it as some sort of personal affront.

The game is good, but it's been unfortunately tainted.

110 lbs 5'4'' girl bosses in oversized armor trying to sound like they're in control is peak cringe. It gives me female cop vibes. The voice actors make it worse by trying to deepen their voices.
Get a life kid

Nexus? Larian? Woke people have no problem turning everything gay but the moment people start touching their agenda in a video game they bought, all hell let loose.

Funny how you ignore a very easily verifiable fact that W'wargaz is only able to throw his weight around with the backing queen Vlaakith another woman. The fact he had to invoke Vlaakith's name multiple times just to get the other Githyanki to fall in line and it literally shown in his very first cameo in the game. He is literally portrayed as useless fool who can't do nothing without woman doing all the heavy lifting and you say this ain't woke?

There are mods hosted outside of Nexus. There's one to rebalance the hues of the general population to be more in line with the BG setting / medieval fantasy setting. Just make one that rebalance the characters in leadership positions. No need to make a big fuss out of it.

Just imagine a fantasy world beyond your comprehension where magic is real and dragons fill the skies and you are a scared triggered baby because a lady is in charge of warriors

It's a tradition around here watching Old Man create new accounts to get banned with. Warms the heart.
