Good Luck and make sure Minthy doesn't die. Also, raise the gate after blowing the horn.
I should of read this first this was my issue I started the raid before dealing with Kagha.
After True Soul Gut, Dror Ragzlin and Minthara are gone, walking back to talk to Zevlor finished the quest. Halsin just came back to the grove and I didn't see him until then.
Next playthrough I'll give the army-fight ending a shot.
When you say 'talked to Zevlor after the initial meeting':
- i'm guessing you're meaning after Aradin knocked him out in the initial interaction, so you can introduce yourself to him and have him ask you for help?
Dealt with Kagha (the acting head druid) and then talked to Zevlor afterwards to tell him you took care of her:
- In this I assume you mean just spoke with her directly, because 'delt with Kagha' can be inferred many ways. In my play to aid the Goblins, the only interaction I had with her was to save Arabella, nothing regarding her 'other' activities or helping Zevlor as I did not speak with her directly.
Another thing that should have been done was interacting with the three Tieflings just down the way from the Lightfoot merchant Arron. In that you should have dissuaded them to stay so there would be less fighters in the grove for Minthara's people to deal with.
In my play, I also took out all three gate guards, and the bugbear assassin killed the Tiefling that uses the telescope atop the hill for me (I still killed him anyway). I even killed Zevlor and the Tiefling female in his room before even speaking with Minthara to make it ever easier for them.
So I never bothered with talking to Kagha and never told Zevlor I would help lead them out (The next part of the quest when you talk to Kagha and she basically demands you to talk to Zevlor and tell him you will help lead them out of the Grove). I spoke with Zevlor initially in the interaction with Aradin as in my play, Zevlor knocked him out instead.
