Permanently remove Yenna.
Is there a mod or any kind of configuration that allows me to either permanently get rid of her or obliterate her out of existence? If I'd want her and her annoying dishrag on my camp I'd ask her, but instead she always shows up uninvited even after Orin's already selected the kidnap target.

The kid's mommy-issues are not my problem, she can rot in a ditch for all I care. My camp's full.

If you think it's Yenna that does it, I suggest you pay more attention.

she named her cat Grub so that tells me that she was already thinking about it. Also Orin IS Yenna that's why Yenna disappears after you kill Orin
A grub is a chubby insect. And no, Yenna is not Orin, hence why you can see both in the same place in multiple ways and Yenna can still be around after Orin is killed. Orin can take Yenna's place because, y'know, she's a shapechanger, but she no more is Yenna than she is Lae'zel, Minthara or Halsin.

she literally brought her own paring knife, she's not bothering anyone.

Orin can permanently get rid of her in the temple of Baal.:steamhappy:

Too bad that is also down to a chance. I need something reliable. She serves her purpose as a failsafe, but once Orin's selected the target, Yenna's effectively obsolete and nothing but a pest. There is also the option of devs not making annoying NPCs that butt in uninvited, but at this point of the games lifecycle that's unlikely to happen.

I guess chaotic evil is in fact an archetype that exists in real life.

There is no mod for this, ask Orin to remove her permanently.

I found it annoying too. I told her to leave but she keep coming back

Every time I’ve played, Yenna has turned up at camp, said she’s going to cook, and then done nothing at all for the rest of the game. No further dialogue options or interactions. Nadda.

I know she’s related to stuff Orin does but it’s never triggered for me and I don’t know why.

It’s not a problem, there’s clearly loads of space in camp and such, it just bugs me knowing there’s something story related meant to be happening that isn’t

You have really low threshold for annoyance if "stands quietly and minds her own business" crosses it...

Don't worry about it, she's just a fail-safe not proper content. She's only there to take the place of a companion if you don't have any left in your party. For example during a Dark Urge playthrough you might be low on friends :)

That and soup.

Out of all the intrusive NPCs, Yenna's one of the least pestering on that count. Two interactions, thazzit. Set dressing otherwise. Spare victim optionally.

And yes. Yenna can be specifically orchestrated to be kidnapped. There's no randomness to it. There's a logical flow that will guarantee when she'll be kidnapped or not.

Look it up. It's not difficult.

Step 1: Order Laezel to kill her.
Step 2: Have Shadowheart cast Animate Dead on her corpse.
Step 3: Go to the House of Hope, and leave her there.

Yes, I know, this is evil, tormenting Rafael in this manner. Poor devil...at least he gets a cook ;)

Yes. Maybe they could add the ability to have a Yenna barbeque if you are the Dark Urge :steamhappy:

A grub is a chubby insect.

It is also slang for food. As is Tucker, Chow, Kai, Nosh, Skran, and Fud. And more.
