Recruiting Minthara

Can you recruit Minthara without nuking the Grove if you save Sazza?
Most of what I read only mention knocking her out without talking to her, but if Sazza has been rescued a conversation will automatically begin when approchaing.

1)
- Knock out minthara
- Save Sazza
- speak with Sazza where Minthara is orginally located (She will not be there)
- You achieved both

2)
- Do all the things normally
- After speak with Minthara she will go to raid groove, go into turnbase mode and Knock her out

Start fight, it doesn’t matter how, just start, check status “temporary hostile“ - if so - knockout her = profit.

Also consider to google before asking, we have like 100+ shorts/guides/steam guides/reddit posts overall during half year.

I'm just sad you missed the part where I said "What I read online" meaning I googled it and most results didn't take Sazza in consideration. All my attempts on previous playthroughs failed so I thought asking the community could help. Sorry for wasting your time by asking a question in a public forum.

But oh well, I'll take the help and discard the shade ;)

Thanks for the advice! Sadly option 1) is out of reach in my current playthrough, I'd have to roll back too far. but I'll try option 2

You do not need to save Sazza for rescuing Minthara.

Does killing one of the Goblin Leaders lock out Minty being recruitable? Some sources say it does while others say the opposite.

Other than that, is there anything specific I should look out for or do before I can mimic Borat's "Great success!" quote?

It'll be my first time attempting to both saving Sazza throughout as well as trying to recruit Minty.

I have had success with killing the leaders and just knocking her out and leaving until you "see her later". I have saved Sazza and her on the same play through although that took some save scumming cuz of goofy interactions in the Goblin Camp.
