is there a problem with Command Drop or is it me

Tried this 6 times. Shadowheart casts it on Gauntlet Yeva in Waukeen's Rest.
1. it doesn't work
2. it works but I can't pick it up without having to fight everybody
3. the weapon disappears

1. Many spells allow for a save that negates its effects. This is normal.
2. You just attacked someone to force them to drop their weapon and then tried to steal it, it's normal.
3. This is an actual bug.

On point 3, there is also a specific mod that can potentially cause this bug too. I -think- the true randomized equipment mod can cause some issues with dropped weapons.
