Can I Kill Raphael Before House of Hope?

There's bugs that allow you to do kill him prior, but I can't speak for whether they've been patched.

The fight against the Netherbrain is already not that hard without killing Raphael. On Normal. If you are trying to do it on a harder difficulty, then making it easier seems contrary to why you want to defeat it on a harder setting. :P

Yes, but no. You can kill him in Rivinghton/Wyrms crossing but if you do he'll just disappear because he'll just go back to Avernus. Devils can't be permanently killed in the material plane, you have to do it in hell. Also you have to kill him in one go (runepowder) or he will just disappear.

Not true, he just needs to be in a "Silence" bubble so he can't cast his "port spell"; then you can hit him as often as you want/need/must.

You're right lol. At the time I thought it was gonna be hard but I was soloing so I only had to one shot my counter once for the game to practically be over at that point. Gonna take a look at the new cutscenes in a moment :)
