Why does this game freeze my webcam?
I use a software called Warudo for many things that I do. When I load up BG3, the webcam and all motion tracking freezes within Warudo. If I click out of BG3, the webcam unfreezes and motion tracking resumes. It only freezes when BG3 is in focus. I have never encountered a game that interacts with this software so strangely. I've changed default microphone, disabled Nvidia broadcast, restarted software and computer to no avail. I have 12 days to refund this if I can't fix it. Does anyone know what's going on?

It doesn't sound familiar, so no? I have no mods installed.

Still not enough information.

Have you tried running the game in windowed mode with Steam disabled?

Why not contact the Warudo devs on their website. If what you are experiencing is also an issue with others they may have already published a fix.

Then exit Steam, launch the game via the executable in windowed mode, then launch Warudo via Steam.

Larian are using it to take snapshots of you to use for NPC textures in BG4

I tried juggling Steam for a minute and launching the stuff, the same thing happens when BG3 is in focus.

The good news is, that it is unlikely a Baldur's Gate 3 issue and more a Warudo issue. Baldur's Gate 3 has no nor takes access with any webcam.

You sure have no other interfering overlay on, such as discord or alike?
