main menu bugs

i just updated the game and the main menu is super bugged
- it looks like on the new game menu and the first menu, there's 2 layers of buttons and options overlapping on top of each other
- starting a new game just takes me back to the main menu
- for some reason there's a typing prompt when i go to select quit

I understand you. Today I encountered the same problem. I can’t load old saves and I can’t start a new game. Entering text when pressing "exit". I don't know what to do. I'll try to remove the mods, if that doesn't help, I'll have to wait for an update.

Those are typical mods issues.

does anyone know what particular mods could be causing this?

You should not be using any mods at all after a major update. Uninstall them.

I had a similar typing prompt glitch pop up for exiting the game and entering a save, for me re-installing the BG3 Mod Manager took care of that (if you're using it for your mods).

i saw that a few major mods like improvedui were updated already and i figured it was safe lmao
