any chance we going get the 5e spell mod on offical mods?.. anyone know

Chances honestly seem low since it requires the script extender which from what I understand can't be in the official mods.

So not unless the mod is remade with the tools Larian has given which is gonna take some time.

ahh :( i understand. :) i don't get moding as far as being able to do it.. but i really did love that mod :)

Yeah it's a genuinely great mod but just hold on for awhile and we'll hopefully see it back. Worse comes to worse you can still use the Nexus mod when it updates.

mixing mods works just fine with BG3MM - even allows you to set your own load order and you can see official mods and external mods at same time too. And obviously that is still required for all SE mods. And will stay required for all eternity...

because that would have been the smart thing todo... also maybe the mod maker not going to but might let someone smart enough use to it transfer the mod over.... i am not smrat enough so figure i post here ask... :)

I was kind of hoping these supported mods were going to include content made by larian to add stuff that was Missing from D&D source books (particularly spells and sublcasses) and not... you know, Mods equivalent in quality to the uninspired end of mods on Nexus.

Like what is THIS doing that modding before this wasn't? And if this was their intention why was it prioritized over Crossplay?

From my understanding previously modding was done on Hexcode. If you don't know what it is look it up so you can understand just how miserable it is to develop on Hexcode.

most assets people related to like abilities, spells, class progression, items, etc are either in plain text or are converted into plain text using third party tools

Then I'll stand corrected, that said official tools I assume still make it easier to mod.

I currently have that mod and a lot more and the game is running good so far.
