Mods are installed not via Steam Workshop for Baldur's Gate 3. If you have forgotten, then make a full cleanup to be on the safe side before reinstalling the game.

I got the same issues when I accidentally uninstalled the Faces_of_Faerun mod and then tried to redownload it (which caused a whole mess of problems).

What fixed all the xaml error messages for me was uninstalling the mods, closing the game, deleting your Modsettings File in your %LocalAppData%\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\ PlayerProfiles\Public folder, then redownloading your mods again in-game.

You can find your %LocalAppData% folder by pressing Windows key + R (to open up Run) then typing in %localappdata% and hitting ok.

Oh and then save on a new slot if the issue is fixed.

the fix for this is to go into the baldurs gate/data folder and remove all the "patch6_hotfix#.pak" files. there will be about 7 of them

i had this problem when i just did a fresh install of v4.1.1.5849914 which is the "patch 7" version of the game (so no mods). got the fix off reddit and figured i'd share it here being it worked for me.

no problem, if i wouldn't have stumbled across the fix on another site i would've never figured that out on my own. it's so weird how that would affect it. but anyway, figured i'd try to get the word out. so yeah, glad you got it working.

I haven't played BG3 since launch and i'm encountering this issue on the Steam deck. I 100% know that I haven't installed any mods for this but i'm still encountering the issue and getting stuck on the landing page. I had this same issue when loading "incompatible" mods together. In my case, I loaded Better Hotbar [Vova's version] along with Hotbar Sort. I proceeded to disable Hotbar Sort, and that fixed the issue for me.

So I'm guessing in many of these cases, it might be running mods that aren't compatible with each other or overlap in ways. Hotbar Sort didn't account for the hotbar mod I had installed and therefore made the hotbar mod not work.
