Cannot Connect to Multiplayer!

Hello! I am currently doing a playthrough with my partner, we are all the way to Act 3 and on Tuesday we were able to play, everything was normal. However, ever since Wednesday, it no longer loads. It allows us both to play single player and we can play other games multiplayer, but not this one. It just loads for a bit, staying at 0%, and then says connection failed. Is this a common problem with the new update? We don't use any mods.

Direct Invite. You get a code from the person hosting the lobby

2/3 of my party can connect but the third is having the issue where they can't connect. Hope there's a fix soon.

Yep, tried multi with my friend after latest patch and we keep getting the disconnect error. We tried both ways him hosting and then myself. Tried loading older saves and no success there either.

Same. After installing patch 7, all attempts to run multiplayer games result in a "connection failed" error.

It's sort've an off-shoot of the un-friend advice, but one solution that worked seamlessly for me and 3 friends is loading the game directly through the Larian Launcher, and using direct connection instead. Remember to completely close steam when playing the game.

Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Launcher and launch Larilauncher WITHOUT steam open, and join through a direct connection code

Hope this works for some folks!
