Data Mismatch

After installing the tool kit patch I got a message on launcher that says "we have detected a data mismatch that can be caused by mods" but the funny thing is, I have never modded my game before.

Check file integrity didn't resolve the error message for me. Going to re-install later....

trying 3 times to install the toolkits , getting miss match issues
without the toolkits , its all fines

The current Toolkit Data DLC seems to be bugged and the cause of the data mismatch issue. Hopefully they will release eventually an hotfix for it.

The issue is related to the activation of the BG3 Toolkit Data "DLC" if that one is activated you will get the warning. If you disable that it will be gone. At least that's what I found out after reinstalling/downloading the game like 3 times.

Why this is the case maybe only Larian knows but it somewhat quite irritating that an official "DLC" even if related to modding is throwing up this error message. It does not seem to be required if you just want to USE mods but only if you want to CREATE them.

Larian your game is no longer playable because of the update it says data mismatch it lets me boot up the game but immediately crashes at 33% when I load a old save or try and start a new one my game is Unmodded please fix this issue.

for added context i dont have the toolkit downloaded nor have i tried downloading it

it is not necessarily caused by the toolkit. If you read the guidance provided by Larian Support, you should already know.
