Should you start a new game for the Patch 7 stuff?

Have an existing run that is part way through act 1 and was wondering if it'd be better to just start a new game with the patch or not. Not sure if there would be any issues caused by continuing a save from an earlier patch

Edit: thanks so much for the answers everyone! I'm just going to continue the save as it's totally unmodded 🙂

I did not notice any issues with continuing earlier save. If you have mods, these are likely broken but unmodded game should work fine.

Like the others have posted, if you are not using any mods, you should be fine. My current play run has worked just like before the update.

Was also wondering if a new playthru was needed.. so no new content to see in early game? not that i have seen it all with just two characters up to chapter 2. but was wondering.

That's not the question.

They did add/modify content, mildly. The question was if an old save would work with the patch. There should be no compatibility issues.

Content is a different story.
